Loftin|Authoritative. Most of the contributions are highly technical but the chapter on color genetics is accessible and informative. Published in 1997, it must be a bit dated by now. I bought this because I got tired of trekking down to the University library to refer to it.. so I guess that is a pretty good endorsement.
